Abstract: This paper introduces a direct acting type crossover relief valve's structure, working principle, calculated and analyzed its force balance equations, on the impact of the valve is the reverse opening and closing characteristics factors were analyzed, through the perfor-mance test, the results show that:reverse crossover relief valve opening pressure is hard to be similar, is the reverse on and off characteristics curve hysteresis large, on the spool manufacturing precision demanding, not easy to guarantee, the difficulty in manufacturing.
