Abstract: In order to improve the effectiveness of medical self-help settlement services and user experience, self-service terminal based on payment by the third party was adopted by Ningbo First Hospital to connect the medical transaction settlement of patients, hospitals and banks through payment by the third party. Payment by the third party has advantages including convenience and efficiency as well as flexible surplus capital flow. Ningbo First Hospital designed and developed a new self-service system to have the functions including self-help card sender, registration, recharging, payment and appointment registration.%
