Abstract: Objective To determine the impact of family function on perceived happiness in liver cancer patients.Methods A total of 183 liver cancer patients were recruited from three Grade A Class 3 hospitals in Wenzhou by convenience sampling method. They were investigated with questionnaire. The relationship between family function of liver cancer patients and perceived happiness was analyzed.Results The total score of perceived happiness in liver cancer patients was (31.21±3.34). There were significant positive correlations between score of family function in liver cancer patients and score of perceived happiness. Regression analysis showed that the factor scores of communication, affective responsiveness and behavior control of liver cancer patients could independently explain 22.7% of the variance for perceived happiness after controlling demographic variables.Conclusion Clinical nurse should focus on the shortcomings of perceived happiness of liver cancer patients,and take effective measures to improve the perceived happiness in liver cancer patients.
