Abstract: Objective Toassess the effect of maternal and infant individualized management onneonatal jaundice and provide a reference toimprove the children's life quality.Methods 136 cases of neonatal jaundice from January 2014 to November 2015 in our hospital were divided into maternal and infant individualized management group and conventional intervention group with 68 cases respectively. Assessed and compared the hospital stays, hospitalization expense,mother's mood, patient satisfaction, treatment effect and jaundice index.Results After the intervention,hospital stays, hospitalization expense, mother's moodand jaundice index in maternal and infant individualized management group were lower compared with those in conventional intervention group(P<0.05) while patient satisfaction and treatment effect in maternal and infant individualized management group were higher than those in conventional intervention group. The comparison was of statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Maternal and infant individualized management has a positive effect on neonatal jaundice in terms of hospital stays, hospitalization expense, mother's mood, patient satisfaction, treatment effect and jaundice index, which is worth of clinical promotion.
