Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of application of WeChat in continuous nursing of patients received daytime Mammotome surgery. Methods In total of 100 patients who received daytime Mammotome surgery were divided into control group and intervention group with 50 patients in each group randomly. In control group, patients received routine care and discharge instruction, while in intervention group, patients not only received routine care and discharge instruction but also received continuous nursing provide by continuous nursing group including video education, follow-up visit, common problems solving through WeChat. State anxiety, incidence rate of postoperative adverse reactions, awareness rate of self-care and satisfaction (on the day of discharge and the day of reexamination) of patients in two groups were compared. Results Psychological adjustment of postoperative anxiety state, incidence rate of postoperative adverse reactions, awareness rate of self-care and satisfaction of patients in intervention group were significantly different from that of control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of WeChat in continuous nursing of patients received daytime Mammotome surgery can prevent the incidence of postoperative adverse reactions effectively, improve patients' self-efficacy and satisfaction and reduce anxiety.
