Abstract: Pre-employment training of new staff with large scale and long duration in hospital is a complex management system. The content of training might be different from the requirements of staff, and a lot mistakes might be made during the implementation process. The utilization of quality management toolsis an important method to realize elaborative and scientific management, among which questionnaire and Gantt chart are two effective tools to solve problems in management of pre-employment training. In 2014, due to the application of questionnaire and Gantt chart in the management of pre-employment training of 195 new staff in our hospital, staff who attended pre-employment training had great performance (P<0.05), meanwhile their satisfaction and participation degree were also improved a lot (P<0.05).
