Abstract: In view of the disadvantages of the traditional torque motor structure such as complex in structure, poor heat transfer,and so on, a new type of wet torque motor was proposed on the basis of 2D valve.For the new type of wet torque motor, not only designed the mechani-cal structure, but also expounded its working principle. Electromagnetic simulation was done to ensure the reasonable magnetic circuit. The parameters of the spring rod are obtained by Analysis of force deformation of spring bar. Finally the special experimental platform was setIn order to obtain the performance of the torque motor.Experimental results showed that the spool produce an angular displacement of plus or minus 0.9 degrees and torque motor has good dynamic and static characteristics when the pole piece have a distance of 0.5mm from the ar-mature and a single coil fed 0.5 amps of current.
