Abstract: In-depth analysis of the principle of existing telescopic hydraulic locked system in construction machinery, and the reason of boom of telescopic outside channeling or telescopic inside is analysed. On this basis, an improved design method by using dual counterbal-ance valve and the Y-type valve is proposed, and effectiveness of these adaptations are positively verified by experiments, so the reliability of the system is improved.
