Abstract: By introducing the working principle of air-operated piston pump on automobile transmission assembly line, this paper analyses the reason of failure to an air-operated piston pump, elaborates the whole course of troubleshooting and getting to the root cause of failure, describes the outcome of air-operated piston pump repairing successfully and the necessary measure be taken to prolong the service life of air-operated piston pump.
