Abstract: The machining process performance and welding process performance of XYQ420 High strength&toughness cold-drawn tube was examined to making the hydraulic cylinder casing. It shows that both the machining process performance and welding process perfor-mance are good. The application of XYQ420 cold-drawn in cylinder casing will reduce the casing crack probability or welding defect. The application of XYQ420 cold-drawn will promote the quality level of hydraulic cylinder.
