Abstract: Objective Through discussing the significance of high-risk medicine pharmacy management and medication safety, improve and enhance medication safety management and provide a reference for high-risk medication safety management.Methods Analyzed all reasons that could affect the safety use of high-risk medicine in the past. Put forward specific solutions by combining with the reality in hospital. 340 high-risk medication cases from 2008 to 2011 before taking high-risk medication safety management and 346 high-risk medication cases from 2012 to 2015 after taking our hospital high-risk medication safety management were selected. Compared the misuse of high-risk medicines and the incidence of adverse reaction before and after safety management. Analyzed pharmacy management of high-risk medicines by randomly checking 50 kinds of high-risk medicines.ResultsThe misuse of high-risk medicines before and after management was 18 cases and 0 cases respectively. The misuse rate was 5.30% and 0% respectively. Adverse reactions occurred in 28 cases and 7 cases respectively. The incidence of adverse reactions was 8.24% and 2.02% respectively. Non-standard placements before and after management were 15 cases and 0 cases respectively. Untimely supplement after use was 9 cases and 0 cases respectively. The expiration of high-risk medicines occurred in 3 cases and 0 cases respectively. The misuse of high-risk medicines, the incidence of adverse reactions, non-standard placement and expiration of high-risk medicines after management were significantly different compared with before with statistical significance (P<0.05).Conclusion After taking specific measures to regulate high-risk medicine management, the safety of high-risk medicine was effectively improved, which showed the significance of its standard management. It is worth of clinical promotion.
