Abstract: Objective Objectives To make sure the effectiveness and availability of emergent materials in emergencies.Methods The cross-department task force for ambulance safety and functions was set up to conduct baseline investigation on all the ambulances in the hospital in order to standardize the configuration and management.ResultsAfter the improvement of management mode of drugs in ambulance, rate of timely rescue increased from 66.57% to 96.52%, the medical staff's familiarity with the configuration of ambulance increased from 70.32% to 98.15%, patient satisfaction increased from 68.96% to 97.63%, and safety and effectiveness of medication in rescuing patients were improved.Conclusions Application of JCI standards in the implementation of management mode of drugs in ambulance can effectively improve safety management of drugs in ambulance and patient satisfaction ensure availability of hospital-wide homogeneity services.
