Abstract: Objective To explore the application effect of case management on patients with cataract surgery.Methods A total of 100 cases of cataract patients in our hospital from January 2013 to January 2015 were selected, who were divided into the treatment group and the control group according to the random number table method. The control group was treated with conventional care while the treatment group was treated with case management and timely follow-up visits. Compared and analyzed the incidence of complication and satisfaction between two groups.Results Patient satisfaction of the treatment group was better than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The incidence of complications in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The implementation of case management on patients with cataract surgery can significantly improve patient satisfaction, reduce the incidence of complications and help patients' recovery, which is worth clinical promotion.
