Abstract: Pediatrics is an important standardized training base for residents. We conducted an exploratory reform on the pediatric clinical competency training and assessment methods in standardization training of residents in the past three years. Good results have been received in clinical practice after establishing specialized theoretical system and new modes of training system and developing a resident-related assessment methods.
