Abstract: Objective To explore the application effect of WeChat in improving nursing quality of operation room.Methods In total of 35 nurses of operation room were included in our study. Since 2015, they communicate with each other through WeChat management platform in order to strengthen nursing management. Changes of doctors' satisfaction degree, nursing quality and nurses' professional burnout before and after the utilization of WeChat were compared.Results After the utilization of WeChat, doctors' satisfaction degree in the aspects of operation cooperation, work integrity and ability of dealing with emergency was higher than before, every score of nursing quality was higher than before, and nursing risk was lower than before. The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); the degree of nurses' professional burnout was lower than that before the utilization of WeChat, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion WeChat could make operation room more safe and effective through improving the nursing quality and reducing nursing risk and nurses' professional burnout.
