Abstract: Based on the weakness of current flushing equipment for insulators in high-speed catenary,this paper proposes a new mechanical flushing device .Regarding the mechanical flushing mechanism as the research object,and setting the weighting stress of hydraulic cylinder one and two in flushing mechanism as the research target, the paper makes use of the MATLAB optimization toolbox to acquire the result . The optimization results show that the weighting stress of hydraulic cylinder one and two obtains a reduction of 53.71%compared with the former.
