Abstract: Based on the ANSYS Fluent 15.0, the operating factors (inlet pressure, initial mixed gas content and impinging stream) are inves-tigated on a hydrodynamic cavitation-impinging reactor.The results show that cavitation is produced in the orifice plat and its downstream end.at the sime time, cavitation intensity and cavitation cloud range increases with the increase of inlet pressure. it is obvious that cavita-tion has a big influence on orifice flow.Too much mixed gas of cavitation has an obvious inhibitory effect.At the center of impinging stream, the turbulent kinetic energy is the largest .
