Abstract: Leakage rate is one of the most important qualities for mechanical seals. Now there are no equations for leakage calculation which most engineers accept because the lack of leakage theory and too many influence factors. So this paper tries to show the variation in trend of leakage rates for oil on the basis of leakage calculation.
