Abstract: Mainly from the failure mode, force analysis, working principle, design check, optimal improvement, the paper detailedly introduces the whole improvement process of the wear failure mode which appeared during the development stage of one type of hydraulic piston pump. Through the optimal improvement, the wear failure issue between the cradle bearing and swashplate was resolved, the type of hydraulic piston pump successfully passed the endurance test in lab.
