Abstract: In this text, the design and calculation of the stroke tolerance of the cylinder is calculated. Using the traditional design , worst case, root sum of squares and modification root sum of squares and the optimization results of the modified square root and the root method are used. The results of the optimization are studied and compared with the data measured in the actual assembly line. The optimal calcula-tion method of cylinder stroke dimension chain is determined.
