Abstract: Air-tightness performance test is the method to verify the sealing property of LNG cryogenic valves. The typical experimental fa-cility which has restriction using the outdated method is not accurate and efficient enough. To assure the operability and reliability, a specific test-bed is necessary to detect the air tightness. In this paper, a new test-bed has been designed, in which some improvements are employed by renewing design, controlling temperature accurately and utilizing high-precision components. Accurate in operation and high in efficien-cy, the instrument has found preferable effect in practical application.
