Abstract: Objective To explore the application effect of incentive management in nursing management.Methods We implemented incentive management in our department since 2014. The main measures included stratified employment of nurses, performance evaluation, flexible shift arrangement and selection of monthly star. The changes of nurses' working enthusiasm, self-efficacy, professional burnout, subjective well-being and job satisfaction before and after the implementation of incentive management were compared.ResultsAfter the implementation of incentive management, nurses' working enthusiasm and self-efficacy were better than before with statistical significance (P<0.05). Nurses' sense of professional burnout in the fields of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal accomplishment were weaker than before with statistical significance (P<0.05). Nurses' subjective well-being and job satisfaction were higher than before and there was statistical significance (P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of incentive management can effectively enhance nurses' working enthusiasm and subjective well-being, reduce their sense of professional burnout and improve their job satisfaction.
