Abstract: Objective To discuss the implementation method and effect of management by objectives in standardized construction of Chinese medical nursing wards.Methods Established a working group and an implementation group for Chinese medical nursing wards, developed implementation plan for management by objectives and set up quantitative indicators for management by objectives in Chinese medical nursing wards, including 6 primary indicators, 24 secondary indicators evaluated by percentile system. Results12 Chinese medicinal nursing wards were set up in three installments and 48 diseases were launched with dialectical nursing. More than 60 Chinese medical nursing treatments were implemented, which improved the overall economic benefit of Chinese medical nursing wards.Conclusion Management by objectives can promote the standardized construction of Chinese medical nursing wards, improve the quality of Chinese medical nursing, enrich its connotation, foster professional Chinese medical nurses and promote the sustainable development of Chinese medical nursing.
