Abstract: Objective To study the application of system tracing method in nursing management on patients with hip replacement and provide basis for improving nursing quality. Methods 84 patients with hip replacement from January 2013 to June 2014 were included and randomly divided into two groups with random number table. The control group took conventional evaluation methods while the treatment group took system tracing method and evaluated the nursing quality management of two groups. Compared nursing quality management, complication incidence rates, length of stay and hip function between two groups. Results Nursing-related indicators, policy tracing indicators, standardized scores, etc. of treatment group were improved than those of control group with statistically significant difference (t=2.817, P=0.05; t=2.648, P=0.010; t=3.652, P=0.00; t=3.537, P=0.001). Postoperative complications of patients in treatment group were lower than that of control group with shorter hospital stay and better hip function. The difference was statistically significant (χ2=3.940, P=0.041; t=2.537, P=0.013; t=4.271, P=0.000).Conclusion The effect of system tracing method in nursing management on patients with hip replacement is obvious, which is worthy of application and promotion.
