Abstract: Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of clinical nursing path on patients with total knee arthroplasty (TKA).Methods 100 cases of TKA patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 50 cases respectively. Patients in the control group received routine daily nursing during hospitalization and got conventional health education according to doctor's advice from the charge nurse on the day of discharge. The treatment group received standard, continuous, complete care by charge nurses in accordance with total knee arthroplasty clinical nursing path health education manual.ResultsThe satisfaction of treatment group was higher than the control group (P <0.05). HHS knee functional score three months after discharge of treatment group was significantly higher than that of control group (P <0.05).Conclusion Illustrated clinical nursing pathway on TKA patients can not only improve patients' satisfaction, promote functional recovery of the patient's knee, but also deepen the connotation of clinical nursing path serviceand improve nurse-patient relationship.
