Abstract: Objective To build intellectualized secondary nurse station on the basis of wireless mobile nursing information technology"nurses' three treasures" so as to ensure medical safety, reduce nurse service radius and improve nursing service efficiency and patient satisfaction. Method Based on the rational setting of secondary nurse stations, equip them with"nurses' three treasures"including nursing mobile platform, transfusion monitor and i-touch handset mobile devices. Use wireless network technology to give full play of"nurses' three treasures". Results The application of intellectualized secondary nurse station, the incidence of nursing adverse events, the time of nurses' writing, service radius, frequency of going back to nurse station and the frequency of red light (transfusion rush hour is from 9:00 to 12:00) significantly decreased than before while patients' satisfaction, nurses' satisfaction as well as doctors' satisfaction significantly increased. Conclusion The setting of intellectualized secondary nurse station optimizes service process, practices the concept of"return the nurses to the patient", improves the clinical nursing safety and efficiency and realizes paperless and wireless office, which in turn also improves the satisfaction from patients, nurses and doctors as well as the hospital's figure.
