Abstract: Objective Through the implementation of scientific and reasonable risk classification management strategies and methods, analyzed the role of risk classification management in preventing inpatients' falls. Method 200 inpatients who were in our hospital between January 2012 to January 2014 were randomly divided into two groups with100 cases respectively. Treatment group was given fall risk classification management measures while no measures were given to control group. Compared the incidence of falls before and after conducting risk classification management between two groups. Results The number of patients who fell down in treatment group significantly decreased with 17 cases before the implementation and 5 cases after implementation, dropping by 62.00%. The incidence was significantly lower than that of control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Implementation of risk classification management in inpatients' fall management is of great significance, which can achieve very positive effect. Fall risk classification management is worth popularization and application in daily management work.
