Abstract: Objective To study the effect of pregnancy management on delivery of high-risk puerperae and condition of neonatus in order to take more security measures for delivery of high-risk puerperae and provide evidences of improving the survival rate of neonatus. Methods From June 2011 to June 2014, 380 high-risk puerperae in our hospital were included in our study and divided into two groups randomly, observation group with pregnancy management intervention and control group with usual management intervention. Cesarean section rate and incidence of premature delivery, abortion and fetal abnormality of the two groups were studied in our study. Results In observation group, the cesarean section rate was45.79%which was significantly lower than the rate of 75.26%in control group (P<0.05);and observation group had significantly lower incidence rates of premature delivery, abortion and fetal abnormality than control group. There was significant difference between observation group and control group (P<0.05). Conclusion To implement and strengthen pregnancy management among high-risk puerperae could contribute to the reduction of cesarean section rate and neonatal mortality rate. Moreover, clinical workers should improve the related methods of pregnancy management constantly.
