Abstract: Objective To explore the application effect of quality control circle in improving qualified rate of managing refrigerated drugs in wards and management process of refrigerated drug. Methods A quality control circle was set up and root cause analysis was conducted on no execution of refrigerated drugs withdrawal for discharged inpatient by means of quality management tools. Management process on refrigerated drugs in wards was continuously improved and compared the qualified rate before and after carrying out process improvement. Results After carrying out QCC activities, the qualified rate of managing refrigerated drugs in wards was increased from 87.7%to 97.7%with statistical significance (P<0.01). Conclusion The QCC activities have significant effect on improving qualified rate of managing refrigerated drug in wards, which improved management process of refrigerated drugs and the ability of members in QCC.
