Abstract: Objective To study the effect of multiple-link quality control on improving the quality of medical records. Methods Data of medical records before and after the implementation of quality control was chosen randomly as the study objects to compare medical record levels, timing defect rate, writing defect rate and medical dispute rate caused by medical records. Results The class A medical record rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group (97.28%vs 92.78%), and there was no class C medical record;Timing defect rate and writing defect rate of observation group were significantly lower than that of control group (2.65% vs 10.28%, 7.39% vs 17.72%); The doctor-patient dispute rate caused by medical records of observation group was significantly lower than that of control group (0.10% vs 0.20%). Conclusion Multiple-link quality control management model can help improve the quality of medical records and can reduce the occurrence of medical disputes to some extent.
