Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of risk management in children with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). Methods From June, 2012 to June, 2014, 240 cases of HIE children were included in the study, in which 120 cases in control group were treated with routine treatment, while 120 cases in observation group were treated with risk management measures, and then the nursing effect on children in two groups was compared. Results After the intervention, the total effective rate of observation group was 90.00%, which was significantly higher than that of control group with statistically significant difference between groups. Moreover, compared with control group, children's levels of SOD and MDA in observation group improved significantly with statistically significant difference between groups. Conclusion The use of risk management measures is very important to the treatment of children with HIE, which not only can improve the treatment effect but also can be beneficial to the improvement of clinical signs and symptoms, so as to reduce the risk of treatment and to fasten children's recovery.
