Abstract: Objective To analyze the effect of the application of independent management combined with intervention management on the management of hospital medical imaging equipments. Methods To choose 170 cases of imaging equipments maintenance maintained from January, 2012 to 2013 as the study object and to divide them into observation group and control group with 85 imaging equipments maintenances in each group. The control group was given independent management, while the observation group was given independent management combined with intervention management. Then to compare two groups' the success rate, effect and cost of equipment maintenance. Result The success rate and recovery rate of equipment maintenance in observation group were significantly higher than that in control group; average maintenance time, replacement of major components, the cost of maintenance and the ration of the cost of maintenance accounting for the total assets cost in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group. Conclusion Independent management combined with intervention management can effectively reduce the cost of equipment maintenance and improve utilization rate of equipments.
