Study on Health Education and Management of Patients with Ovarian Malignant Tumor

Abstract: Objective To study the clinical care effect of health education for patients with ovarian malignant tumor in early stage and its management. Methods The data of 80 patients who received treatment in our hospital was analyzed and the patients were randomly divided into two groups. Patients in control group received routine nursing while patients in experimental group received routine nursing combined with health education, and then the nursing effects of the two groups were compared. Results In experimental group, 90%of patients met the standard of health knowledge after nursing;95%patients were satisfied with the overall nursing level in our hospital which was higher than that of control group (rate of reaching the standard was 72.5%;satisfaction rate was 80%) (P<0.05);In experimental group, the incidence rate of complications was 0%which was lower than that of control group (7.5%) (P<0.05);ADL score (16.2±3.7), physical function score (59.6±7.5), psychological function score (65.8+9.2) and social function score (57.2±6.5) in experimental group were all higher than that of control group (P<0.05);Symptoms score (66±5), mental and emotional state score (13±5) and daily life score (22±3) in experiment group were all higher than that of control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The incidence rate of ovarian malignant tumor is high, and in clinical the effect of routine nursing combined with health education is ideal which should be popularized.
