Abstract: Based on the NX software, a unified finite element model of the cylinder assembly of axial piston pump and motor was built and analyzed for structural simulation. The results of contact pressure in friction pairs, as well as the deformation and stress distribution of each part were obtained by the calculation. The influences of related parameters on the axial piston pump and motor during their working process-es, which can some extent explain the main causes of the cylinder component failures, were discussed according to the results. The analysis and discussion of the calculation results showed that this method is effective and can be used as a reference in the design and optimization of the axial piston pump and motor.
