Abstract: Hydraulic pulsation filter technology is a hot research of hydraulic drive applications in recent years. Adaptive filtering, attenua-tion band, attenuation performance and the complexity of the filter structure were parameter in the assessment of filter. Analysis and compar-ison of three types of hydraulic pulse filtering techniques were given: dissipative filtering, resistance filtering, active filtering. Then two kinds of new promising filtering methods were proposed:bionic cochlear basilar membrane structure filtering based on auditory traveling wave theory and porous silica colloid structure filtering based on Nanotechnology. Their work mechanism and technical difficulties were de-scribed. The future research directions and priorities of hydraulic pulsation filtering technology were analyzed. This work provides reference for future researchers to explore new methods and approaches.
