Abstract: According to the faults of the traditional hydraulic actuators that it has low frequency responses and can’t provide effective com-pensation to its non-linear part. And, its mechanic feedbacks can’t adjust its gains automatically. In this article, we have designed a new type of hydraulic actuator which is composed of incremental digital valve, hydraulic cylinder and photo-electric decoder. By controlling the step-motor of the digital valve, we can make the valve core open or close and in order to let the cylinder move precisely. As a result, both the con-trolling precision and the response frequency are improved.
