Abstract: Under the background of rapid development of Internet and tense relation between doctors and patients, the maintenance of hospitals' public image and the prevention of public crisis encounter unprecedented challenges. Therefore, it is very important for medical institutions to establish the public sentiments monitoring and crisis preventing system. Taking Nanfang Hospital as an example, this article focused on the illustration of grasping the operation law of Internet and media and realizing hospitals' healthy and sustainable development based on the construction of practicable, effective hospital crisis management system with case analysis from 3 aspects of public sentiments monitoring, crisis responding and media contacting.
