Abstract: Objective To discuss and analyze the safety management measures for patients' transportation during the relocation of a general hospital.Method In the early stage of the overall relocation, formulated a comprehensive nursing safety management plan. Meanwhile, drilled related transportation process, made contingency plans starting from the basic information of patients with right assessment of their disease and confirmed their escorts' ability. Fully prepared emergency supplies, clearly marked different types of patients, managed the first-aid material in an integrated way and implemented the entire security escort. Arranged patients right after they arrived at the new campus and quickly carried out treatment support and care. Results 300 patients from old campus completed their transportation within 5 hours and no patients need emergency treatment. Conclusion In order to ensure the safety of patients during the relocation of a general hospital, rigorous transportation plan should be made, drill should be practiced beforehand and a full set of continuity of care and emergency plans should be made.
