Abstract: Objective To discuss the application of evidence-based method in the construction and management of hospital supply room.Methods Took the laboratory construction and management situation which began to carry out the evidence-based management approach from May 2014 as the treatment group while took the same laboratory which had not carried out the evidence-based method as the control group. Compared the index including sterile goods management, equipment cleaning, hygiene monitoring and hand washing compliance between two groups.Results The qualified rate of sterile goods in treatment group (99.2%) was significantly higher than that in control group (73.8%) (P < 0.05); The qualified rate of equipment cleaning in treatment group (97.8%) was significantly higher than that in control group (64.7%) (P < 0.05); The qualified rate of hygiene monitoring in treatment group was significantly higher than that in control group (P < 0.05); The qualified rate of hand washing compliance of medical workers in treatment group (79.8%) was significantly higher than that in control group (63.8%) (P < 0.05).Conclusion Constructing work process for hospital supply room with evidence-based methods is an effective and scientific management method, which is conductive to improving the quality of supply room and reduce hospital infection.
