Abstract: Objective To discuss the effect of ward pre-admission management. Methods Took 149 cases covered by pre-admission management from November to December in 2013 as the treatment group while randomly took 149 cases who met pre-admission management requirement but received traditional admission as the control group. Make comparison between these two groups. Results Average length of preoperative stays, average length of inpatient stays and average medical cost of treatment group were lower than these of control group. Conclusion Pre-admission management could reduce length of preoperative stays and medical cost and improve bed utilization rate.
