Abstract: Objective To evaluate the effects of the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) in ward bedding and clothing management. Methods The CQI management team was set up to discuss how to improve the standardization of ward bedding and clothing management. The whole activity was in accordance with PDCA, and the effects were evaluated after intervention. Results After CQI intervention, the specification rate of bedding and clothing management was significantly increased (P<0.01). At the same time, the satisfaction of clinical nurses, quality control personnel and inpatients was significantly increased (P<0.05). Conclusion CQI intervention can significantly increase the specification rate of bedding and clothing management, improve the satisfaction of clinical nurses, quality i control personnel and inpatients and reduce the risk of nosocomial infection.
