Abstract: Objective To discuss the effects of quality training on nurses in obstetric department. Method Selected 106 nurses from obstetric department in our hospital as the research object and conducted quality training on them to improve the overall quality of nurses. Results After quality training, patient satisfaction (82.36%), the validity of illness observation (68.87%), the rate of taking medicine on time (92.45%) and the success rate of rescuing patients (85.85%) were significantly higher than before (59.43%), (50.94%), (67.92%), (72.64%) with statistical differences (P<0.05). After training, the excellent and good rate of nursing efficacy was 94.34%(100/106), significantly higher than before 78.30%(83/106) with statistical difference (P<0.05). Conclusion After nurse specialist quality training, service level, working efficiency, patient satisfaction and nursing efficacy of obstetric nurses were significantly improved. It is worth clinical promotion.
