Abstract: Objective Analyze the features of traffic accident injury in Beijing and discuss the construction of traffic medical emergency system. Methods Collected traffic accident injury cases from Beijing 120 emergency center database between 2007 and 2009. Results There were 8251 qualified cases in total. Most of them were male and 10%were the aged, part of whom were with suspicious premonitory symptoms that might cause cardiopulmonary events. Conclusion The current hospital first-aid mode for traffic accident injury was deficient. A new traffic first-aid mode should be established, which might deduce damage and increase its salvage rate.
