Abstract: The cesarean section rate in China increased year by year due to medical reasons and social influencing factors. High cesarean section rate could significantly influence maternal and child health, which should arouse great attention from medical field, women in childbearing age as well as the society. Furthermore, medical institutions, women in childbearing age as well as all sectors of society should work together to reduce the cesarean section rate.
