Abstract: Discuss the impact of implementing pre-hospitalization in anorectal surgery department on increasing bed utilization rate. Anorectal surgery ward started to implement pre-hospitalization in November, 2013. Compare bed utilization rate, admission rate of patients with anorectal diseases and their satisfaction rate one month before and after implementing pre-hospitalization. Bed utilization rate of anorectal surgery ward increased from 97.5%to 115%after the implementation of pre-hospitalization. The admission rate of patients with anorectal diseases increased from 55.3%to 93.5%. Patients' satisfaction rate increased from 92.8%to 98.5%.
