Abstract: The development of wireless network technology and portable terminals offers an opportunity for the realization of mobile ward round system. IPAD with IOS-based mobile ward round system helps doctors have access to patient's medical information, such as images, laboratory results and inspection report during ward round and collect patients' clinical images, conversations and other clinical data. The extension of information system to the bed provides a basis for the development of a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plan, which greatly reduces medical costs, simplifies work procedure, improves efficiency and allows doctors to provide better service.
