Abstract: Objective Analyze common accidental injuries of elder inpatients and take effective prevention measures to improve the elder's safety.Method Implement overall procedure management on inpatients according to the particularity of elder inpatients and vulnerable links in our department and put all prevention measures into practice.Results Accidental injuries like accidental falls, dropping from bed, skin injury, aspiration, wandering away and scald have been effectively prevented.Conclusion Great attention on nursing safety from nursing manager and nurses at all levels and strict implementation of all nursing management measures could improve nursing quality and safety and avoid the occurrence of accidental injuries.
