Abstract: Objective To learn the effect of hospital information system upgrade on pharmacy management.Method Staff on information and pharmacy management interviewed the system users including physicians and pharmacists to collect information on the change in the work model and content after the upgrade.Result After the upgrade, the pharmacy management was further standardized; the work efficiency of Department of Pharmacy was improved; the pharmaceutical research level was enhanced; and the supervision on the prescription was strengthened.Conclusion The hospital information system upgrade can improve the pharmacy management.
