Abstract: On the basis of a great deal of data got in 1989-1993 about surface sediments in the sea area around Changshan Islands of the North Yellow Sea,and with the help of the analysis(Q-model)of the sediment grains,the paper presents four environmental energy types influenced by“around island effect”and analyses the sediment circumstances and the distribution features around Changshan Islands.
