Abstract: During the period of Parent-Mourning System, the officials of Song Dynasty communicated with abstract court and concrete people. The forms of information communication were divided into two types: speech and text, and the channels of information communication were oral transmission and text transmission. As the main form of communication, text information communication has special provisions in terms of appellation, politeness, time and funeral. The content of information communication includes the treatment and suggestions for funerals, military affairs and political affairs, which are often the basic reasons for its external communication. Since the Song Dynasty stipulated that officials shouldn’t write to advise during the funeral, in addition to the information communication allowed by the funeral, the information communication during the period of Parent-Mourning System in Song Dynasty basically prepared for his re-entry into office after reinstatement or three years of mourning.
